Neil Taylor and family
Games, Investment, Property
Neil Taylor, 56, founded the computer games company Game in 1990, building it into a chain with 98 stores. He floated the business in 1998, with Taylor and family making €58m from the float and sale one year later. Since then Dublin-based Taylor and his two brothers Carey, 59, and Chris, 62, whose Origin Products group developed the Polly Pocket girls’ toy brand, have built a German property portfolio and a range of other investments. In 2014 the family stake in PureGym was sold at a profit. With surging house prices in Germany, we put the Taylors at €271m.
